Hi

Has anyone had a breakdown of their Motability car.

Ours has been off the road since the 19th May!

We cannot tow our caravan (specially adapted so I can get away) without it and the summer is disappearing!

They have given us a vehicle so that we can get around but it does not have a tow bar.

Earliest date for the part to arrive is the end of July.

Steam steam!

My Motability car was off road for repair in January/February for about 3 weeks after someone drove into the back of it. Motability assured me they would provide an identical courtesy car but, unfortunately, the first one was too high for me to climb into with one dodgy hip needing THR and the other still recovering from second stage revision surgery. The second car they offered was the other end of the spectrum, too low to accomodate my painful, stiff hips and fused spine - every time I got in/out I bumped my head and aggravated my hip pain!

What sort of car do you have and what went wrong with it? Is it something foreign and they've had to wait for a part to be shipped over to the UK?
